We know being called into a grievance and disciplinary can be nerve-wracking and difficult without support. Our members know we’re here to support them every step of the way. That’s why BALPA ensures the very best training for staff and rep, who will be by your side when you need them.

This week, BALPA HQ hosted Disciplinary and Grievance training for our representatives. A large amount of our rep’s workload is assisting you, our members, at hearings of this kind. This resource is invaluable to you along with the 24-hour emergency assistance, legal advice and representation, and peace of mind knowing BALPA is there if you need it.

One rep reported to us that, in 2023, he personally assisted over 25% of his member-base with D&G related issues, and in a single day received over 11 enquiries while supporting members at  two meetings.
